The cross-country and biathlon centre in Obertilliach serves as training location for the world's best cross-country skiers and biathletes, which is why it is nationally and internationally known, and it’s also a highlight for every hobby athlete.

The Hotel Weiler is located in immediate vicinity (about 1 km, 10-15-min walk) of the cross-country and biathlon centre East Tyrol.

From mid-November onwards, depending on snow conditions, renowned top athletes and national teams take advantage of the excellent snow conditions and wide range of cross-country trails around the cross-country and biathlon centre East Tyrol. Obertilliach is the perfect place for pre-competition preparations, as also Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, a Norwegian biathlete living in Obertilliach, has long recognised.

But not only in winter the cross-country and biathlon centre serves as the ideal site for high-quality exercising. It’s also open in summer, when a 4,2 km long paved trail as well as the cross-country trails can be used for roller skiing by both international top biathletes and hobby athletes.
All athletes staying at the Hotel Weiler are offered a special full-board package during their training camp in Obertilliach in order to provide them with the best possible support.
