There's a long tradition of heartfelt hospitality at the Weiler's comfortable and rustically furnished hotel, which has been run by our family with love and passion for many generations. From the moment you arrive, the committed hosts and staff will leave no stone unturned to fulfil your every wish with a cordial smile and make your stay an exceptional experience. 


Our hotel has a long family history – The Hotel Weiler in Obertilliach had been managed by our ancestors already for centuries, when in 1960 the hotel – as it is now – was established in the architectural style characteristic of the Pustervalley, ideally situated at the very western end of Obertilliach.

The Hotel Weiler provides one-of-a-kind opportunities: Enjoy the natural beauty of the Tyrolean Lesachvalley by exploring its vast number of high-quality hiking trails. Take advantage of the family's personal hiking expertise and embark on both informative and fun tours together with your hosts! With Magdalena, the hotel's junior chef, and her partner Daniel you've got officially certified Tyrolean hiking guides (since spring 2015) gladly assisting you with all your concerns. Don't hesitate to directly ask them for clarification of any questions that might arise, they’ll be happy to provide you with information as well as special tips to ensure you’ve got everything you need to enjoy your holiday in the Lesachvalley to the fullest.

Regionality & sustainability

Loving food preperation in favour of nature ...

For us, practicing sustainability means a responsible treatment of nature as well as the use of regional products.

In our hotel all meals are prepared freshly every day. We are particularly proud of our beef, pork and veal as well as the fresh hay milk from the Weilerhof, our neighbouring farmer, and the Tilliach lamb from the Schneider farmer.

The Obererlacher bakery in Obertilliach takes care of our delicious breakfast offers, always including home-made coarse-rye bread, liver sausages and plated brioche buns.

Natural, sustainable and ecological heating with wood chips ...

We pay special attention to using ecologically friendly energy when heating. We obtain our energy from the neighbouring Weilerhof by means of wood chips heating. We participate in a project called “Biomasse NW-Obertilliach”, which helps reducing the impact on the environment by avoiding the emission of 131,45 tons of CO2 every year.
